What is Laser Tag?
This is a team game played using infra-red “tagger” guns. You wear a wireless sensor head band and carry a tagger gun, no complicated vest or bulky gear. The sensors record when you have been hit and how many lives you have left and your ‘guns’ have sound effects to let you know. And most of all it is 100% safe, no need for specialised safety equipment such as masks to be worn.
Where is it played?
The games take place inside The Paintball Centre, Canary Wharf on three fantastic play zones. The Paintball Centre also has showers, changing rooms a licensed bar and conference room all available for you to use. We also hire out our Laser Tag equipment for private parties, corporate events, away days, fetes and fairs. In fact Laser Tag is so safe and versitile it can be played virtually anywhere, inside or out so please let us know if this is something that would interest you.
What makes this different to other Laser activities?
It is new ‘digital’ technology. The equipment is more sophisticated and capable of a lot more, including...
-not being able to shoot anyone on your team - it recongnises ‘friendly fire’
-programming the ‘guns’ to simulate different types of weapons, eg, machine gun, rifle, sniper, sci fi laser etc
-special shot funtion allows grenades, health points or ammunition to be ‘fired’
-can play more than two teams, ie, all on all or split into three teams
-records data at end of game so you know who shot who and get a print out to take with you
-your game scores are held on your file so you can increase your game score every time you play
-amongst others.
Number of Players
The games are played in teams, up to 20 people at one time (2 teams of 10). However, if you have less than 20 people we will try and add you into a session with other players as long as there is availability.
Session Times
Games range from 10-20 minutes long with short breaks in between.
We ask you arrive half an hour before each session to get kitted up and have a briefing about how to use the equipment. This ensures that the whole of your one or two hour session is spent getting the most amount of games fitted in for you.
